Ekhelar Set To Transfer

Theresa Ekhelar, the 6-foot-6 redshirt freshman post from Ohio State, has been granted a release and will transfer at the conclusion of the school’s first semester.
Ekhelar, who was an ELITE 150 prospect in the 2015 class out of high school, has played in three games this season, converting all three of her field goal attempts. Her true freshman year was cut short, playing in six games.
The Woodbridge, New Jersey, native played her final two years of high school at Life Center Academy. As a senior she averaged 10. Points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. She played club ball with Earl Elliott and the NYC Gauchos program.
