College Players at U19 World's
Valeria TruccoArizona's 2018 commit Valeria Trucco will represent Italy this week.

Udine, Italy – The U19 World Championships start on July 22nd and this year's competition could see as many as 40 division one schools in attendance to evaluate college eligible prospects from this year's competition. While many schools will be looking to add more international flavor to their roster, there are already some committed and enrolled college players set to play in this event. Here is a look at the standouts who have already made their college choice.

Australia
Chloe Bibby (Mississippi State) – Bibby will start her freshman year at the SEC school this fall. She is a blue collar forward that should fit in perfectly as a stretch four in Vic Schaffer’s system.

Anneli Maley (Oregon) – Maley is one of the best international prospects in the class of 2017. Her arrival at Oregon will add flexibility to their lineups as Maley can play on the wing and as a forward.

Canada
Leticia Amihere – Amihere hasn’t committed anywhere, but the class of 2019 prospect is a household both domestically and internationally.  Look for her to have a lasting impact on this tournament.

Hailey Brown – Michigan – No player at this event has more international experience than Haley Brown.  Brown started wearing jersey’s for Canada in 2012 at the U17 World Championships, and she has worn one every year since. Brown will be entering her freshman year at Michigan.

Other Key Canadians in College
Alyssa Jerome – Stanford
Ace Konig – NC State
Shaina Pellington – Oklahoma

France
Amandine Toi – Virginia – Toi will be arriving in Charlottesville this fall to start her freshman season. She is a dynamic athlete who is still learning the game.

Kadiatou Sissoko – Syracuse –Sissoko could be the “IT” player for France this week. She has the size and athleticism to create mismatches on offense and then exploit opposing players when on defense.

Italy
Lorela Cubaj – Georgia Tech – Cubaj is a young post with an abundance of international experience, she will be on campus at Georgia Tech in the fall to start her freshman season.

Valeria Trucco – Arizona – Trucco is a member of the 2018 international class and is committed to Arizona. If she were in the U.S., she would be in the discussion for the end of the year All American games next Spring.

Elisa Pinzan – Stetson – Pinzan is an electric point guard who can get to the rim, shoot the three, and plays with passion. She will be entering her freshman season at Stetson.

Latvia
Digna Strautmane - Syracuse – Struatmane is a versatile stretch forward who can shoot off the catch and off the bounce. She likes to play in space and is a good one on one player. Strautmane is going to Syracuse in the fall.

Spain
Lucia Alonso – Arizona – This fall Alonso will be entering her second season in Tuscon.

Ana Ayuso – Oregon – Ayuso is the heart and soul of this year's Spanish team. She is a playmaking point guard with good size. She will be in Oregon in the fall for the beginning of her freshman year.
