KANSAS CITY, Kansas - The Brandon Clay Elite 100 Showcase delivered with players from as far north as Minnesota and as far south as Georgia. The Showcase was a quality grouping of upperclass prospects who have already established themselves as college prospects and underclass kids who are on their way to doing the same in due time.

Hartzler had a big time day. She puts the work and time in coming to train just before heading to a club practice later in the day. Hartzler, who is a Brandon Clay Consulting client, is playing with a ton of confidence after a successful freshman school season.

This was Miller’s second time on the floor with our staff after seeing us in Chicago. We got extensive post reps in during live half court and full court play specifically for her. Miller has a chance to really take her game to another level over the next 12 months.

Michel Robbins

Robbins actually took part in both the Kansas City and Tulsa showcases. After visiting Tulsa’s campus then squaring off against top talent including Rieyan Desouze and McKenzie Mathurin, Robbins walked into Kansas City ready to work again. She’s learning how to be in attack mode at all times on the offensive end. Add her to the Class of 2027 Watch List.

Smith’s willingness to be a playmaker all over the floor jumped out during gameplay. She is in good game shape and was able to to make an impact throughout the session even two plus hours in. Smith was a standout in Kansas City for our staff back in the fall. The setting was no different.

Snodgrass has grown noticeably since we trained in Oklahoma City last spring. She had a big middle school season including a 40-point outing against a rival school. If today was any indication of what’s to come, expect more of that from Snodgrass in the future.

This was our first time on the floor with Welsh. She showed up and quietly went about her business of being one of the better shotmakers in the gym at Bishop Miege on Sunday. Welsh is a potential specialist in that regard for us to track closely over the next six months.

AROUND THE RIM

Class of 2029 prospect Eyani Mills (MO) was locked in from start to finish today. She has all the tools to be a name who leads the pack for years to come. We’ll train again in September.

Class of 2028 guard Audrey Sims (MO) is a prospect we expect to see twice a year from now until she finishes high school. Her work ethic really jumped off the page and should allow her to be a notable name in the area upon high school arrival.

Class of 2028 prospect Ireland Sullivan (KS) is one to keep a close watch on. She’s a homeschool product who is just starting to find her way onto the national stage.

Class of 2027 Bristol Lathrop (MO) was impressive here mainly with her ability to take coaching quickly then apply it. She’s one of those kids who has a lot of run room left in her development. It will be exciting to watch her grow after this until we train again later in 2024.
