During the break, George Washington picked up one of the highly sought after guards on the east coast when class of 2018 point guard Tori Hyduke of Fair Haven, New Jersey made a verbal pledge. Hyduke picked the Atlantic 10 school over a number of suitors including, Davidson, Fordham, Minnesota, NC State, Seton Hall and others.
For George Washington, Hyduke represents a program piece that they can continue to build around moving forward. She is a competitor who has shown the ability to run a team offensively while also finding spots to be aggressive and score the ball. She is a consistent perimeter shooter and can make quality reads in the halfcourt wether it is playing in the pick and roll or running a set offense.
With the addition of Hyduke George Washington now has a solid start to their 2018 class. The 2017-18 version of the A-10 school has five seniors on the roster. Look for GW to stay active in the 2018 class as they look to replace that production.
Excited and thankful to announce my commitment to George Washington University to further my academic and basketball career! pic.twitter.com/QBAhJcOV7y
