COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The USA Basketball U17 national team selection committee has whittled down a group that started this weeks trials with 144 participants down to the 12-player team that will travel to the Czech Republic to compete in the FIBA U17 World Championships, beginning June 28.
Similar to the 2009-2010 cycle of U16 and U17 teams, are six new players that were not on last years team.
