SUWANEE, Ga. - The Elite Basketball Academy National Fall Showcase provided over 80 prospects a chance to play in front of schools from as far away as UCLA. Here is our take on the standouts from Sunday afternoon.
Lindsey Corsaro (Indianapolis, Ind.) - Roncalli HS - 2016
Corsaro made the trip to the metro Atlanta suburbs from Indianapolis to take part in the showcase. The 6-foot wing is progressing since our last evaluation at the Real Deal in the Ville during the July evaluation period. A long-limbed perimeter threat, Corsaro can handle the basketball in the open floor, rebound around the basket and create shots for herself and others. This summer the four-star prospect showed her versatility playing multiple positions for Indiana Elite. The ELITE 60 Watch List candidate brings both ideal size and skill to the small forward position. Corsaro even stayed after the showcase to get extra skill development in with EBA trainer, Adrian Penland.
AROUND THE RIM
♦ Taylor Darks of Cincinnati, Ohio, missed her high school homecoming to attend both sessions of the National Fall Showcase. The 5-11 wing made her trip worthwhile showing her versatility in the open floor. A class of 2015 prospect, Darks finished around the rim in the half court setting too, while showing improved range on her jump shot.
♦ Victoria Harris of Snellville, Ga., was effective on both ends of the floor during the showcase. The 6-2 class of 2015 prospect has become one of regions most sought after options in the post. Harris will rebound the ball, showed a nice touch around the rim and ran the floor consistently throughout the event. Follow @BrandonClayPSB
