Maryland Adds Faith

Maryland Adds Faith
No. 76 Faith Masonius

Maryland coach Brenda Frese and her program had a great night on Monday. The evening started with a nationally televised win over in conference rival Ohio State and ended with the class of 2019 forward Faith Masonius making a verbal pledge to the Big Ten school. Masonius is a four-star prospect and the No. 76 ranked player in the ELITE 100 for 2019.

The addition of Masonius gives them a versatile forward and one of the best passers in the 2019 class. Masonius will bring a high basketball IQ and a unique feel for making teammates better to Maryland. She is a vocal player on the floor and could develop into a good leader for the Big Ten program.

The addition of Masonius gives Maryland three members of the ELITE150 in the class of 2019. The 6-foot-1 forward joins Zoe Young and Ashley Owusu as members of Maryland's recruiting class. Both Young and Owusu are in the top 10 of the 2019 class. With three top 100 commitments and two in the top 10, look for Maryland to sit at the top of the 2019 recruiting class rankings when they are released in February.
