WNBA Draft Watch: Chantel Osahor
WNBA Draft Watch

Just a day after snatching 30 rebounds and scoring 20 points in a win over in-state rival Washington State, Osahor was named Pac-12 Player of the Week.

Chantel Osahor currently sits at No. 19 on the 2017 WNBA Draft Board. She’s improved her stock with each season at Washington turning herself into a legitimate pro prospect in the process. Last night, Osahor put up a record-breaking performance pulling down 30 rebounds in a contest versus Washington State. Going into the game, Osahor was leading the nation averaging 13.8 rebounds per contest.

In addition to her prowess on the glass, Osahor is also averaging 15.5 points per on 48.5 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. She has one of the most unique shooting releases in all of basketball. Skill impersonator, BDotADot5, even took a stab at recreating Osahor’s delivery in a recent video:

Hansen’s Take:

Osahor has also answered the questions people had about her knees with her averaging over 31 minutes per game for the second straight season.  Through 19 games this year she’s seen her 3-point field goal percentage, rebounding rate, scoring and assists per game all go up with nearly identical minutes played from her junior year, which ended with her Huskies in the Final Four.
