Illinois Adds Channise Lewis

Four-star point guard Channise Lewis of Miami, Florida, has decided to play her college basketball at Illinois for coach Matt Bollant and his staff.  Lewis has the potential to be a dynamic playmaker for the Big Ten school as she is capable of scoring the ball on her own or setting teammates up to score.  Last high school season the 5-foot-6 point guard proved to be one of the toughest players in the class when she played through a high ankle sprain at two of the best high school showcases in the country.  Her play in that two-week period was one of the truly memorable moments of the 2015-16 high school season.
