Lark To Leave Washington

Lark To Leave Washington
Khalia Lark

Khalia Lark, the 6-foot wing from Irvine, Calif., has received her release from the University of Washington.  She played in six games for the Huskies this season and 23 as a freshman a season ago.  She was averaging 2.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 13.7 minutes this season.  As a freshman she shot an impressive 40.7 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.

"Lark is a perimeter player with good size who can shoot the ball as well," ProspectsNation.com managing editor, Chris Hansen, said. "She put a lot of work in her game to become a perimter player after being stuck in the post early in her high school career.  She's a capable scorer and can rebound from the wing."

Lark landed at Washington after initially committed to Fresno State.  She changed course when then coach Raegan Pebley took the job at Texas Christian.
