Towells is a quick, slashing lead guard. She is very good at getting her shot off the bounce. She slashes and can keep defenders off balance with her attacking nature. Towells has a knack for the moment and she demonstrated that well as she hit a last second, game winning shot to close down camp. She is equally as effective on the defensive end where she can create havoc by defending the ball. If there is a part of her game that she can tighten up it would be her shot selection. Learning how to pick her spots as when to attack and when to distribute will be key for her success at the next level.
