Buck showed herself to be a shooting specialist at the March camp this year. She has a quick, easy release that allows her to shoot a high percentage from behind the arc. Her shooting mechanics are so polished that she does not need a lot of time to get her shot off. That combined with her solid footwork, she becomes a threat to score anytime she gets space along the perimeter. Although she stands at 5-6 as a shooting guard, she has the IQ necessary to affect the game in other ways other than just standing and shooting. She has ball skill and the vision to deliver the ball in a timely fashion to her teammates. One area that she will want to improve as she heads into the spring evaluation periods is her ability to defend the basketball. Getting lower and fighting for position along the perimeter will be key for Buck on the defensive end.
